You will need:
• Small to medium sized frame
• 3- 4oz. contrasting colors of
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
• Small Natural Bristle Brush
(Annie Sloan Pure Bristle Brush No. 8)
• Small disposable plates
• Water for mixing/rising
Wipe down frame to remove any dirt or residue and remove glass panels or inserts. Paint on base coat, (we used Florence) covering evenly and aiming for full coverage. Let dry 15-20 minutes or until dry to the touch.Mix a bit of your lightest color (we used old white) with about 50% paint 50% water – it should be thin but not water. Paint your frame, one section at a time. Immediately wiping with a soft cloth. Be gentle so as not to pick-up the paint underneath. Let set until dry. 15-20 minutes. Dip just the tip of your brush into your darkest color *we used Aubusson Blue) and wipe the excess off onto a paper towel. The brush will be nearly dry. Lightly brush over the raised deigns and details of the frame. highlighting the texture. Let dry.
