HOLMES COUNTY, OH – Celebrate ‘A hand-crafted, heart-felt Christmas’ at twelve beautiful inns of Amish Country during the 8th Annual Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns event. The tour, hosted by the Amish Country Lodging Council, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 12 and 13, 2015, 12:00-6 p.m. each day. Tickets go on sale November 1, 2015.
At each stop on the two-day self-guided tour satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious indulgences including Merry Cherry Christmas Cookies, Chocolate Peppermint Dreams, Maple Oatmeal Scones, Cranberry Bliss Cookies and more. The inns will offer inspirational decor and festive music. Each inn will also feature local businesses that will present holiday demonstrations.
Inns featured on this year’s tour are: The Barn Inn, Berlin Grande, Berlin Resort, Carlisle Country Inn, Carlisle Inn Sugarcreek, Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek, Comfort Suites Berlin, Guggisberg Swiss Inn, Miller Manor, Stone Cottage Inn, Victorian Suite, and Wallhouse Hotel.
Tickets are $35 for a single day and $60 for a two-day pass. Each patron will receive entrance to participating properties and a souvenir guide with the recipes of specialty cookies available to sample at each inn. In the spirit of Christmas giving, all net proceeds will be donated to charity.
Festivities will conclude with a drawing for a $150 gift certificate that can be used for lodging at one of the participating inns.
